Where to Move

It is increasingly common for Americans to move large distances for social, political, or environmental reasons. To that end, I created a dashboard to help narrow down which counties in the continental United States would be good candidates for people to move to. This involved a lot of data gathering and manipulation, but is an interesting concept that I may expand on with its own website at some point.

Graduate School Selection

I was considering applying to graduate school, but I decided against it. As part of my decision making process, I used the information for Carnegie Classifications of Institutions of Higher Education to create a dashboard that helped me narrow down which colleges I may be interested in. I then used the results to look into the labs at those institutions.

Grid World

Carl Sagan famously said, "If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must first invent the universe." I wanted to understand reinforcement learning, so I created a two dimensional universe for my agents.
