Where to Move

Where to Move is a Power BI tool I have created that gives a breakdown of factors that someone might find important when deciding where to move. The report gives the user a range of topics to narrow down their search for a new home. I have collected data and curated the following data.

• Housing prices

• Sales taxes at the county level

• Calculated state income tax estimates

• Median temperatures

• Predicted median temperatures for 2040

• Publicly owned land per state

• Sailing clubs per county

• Party of the governor

• Cannabis legality

• Abortion restrictions

You can see an example of the report in the video below. I would make the report publicly available, but I am not going to do that yet. I am not happy with the capabilities of Power BI, so I'm considering making an improved version with more features using another user interface, like Dash.
